Meet Ellen

Ellen has been a long-time Friend of the Modesto Library who got re-engaged during the Library Legacy Campaign. The Modesto Library has been her home library ever since she started attending story time as a baby. Her first job in her teenage years was as a page, reshelving books. Currently, she balances teaching third grade, volunteer work, and her family—which includes her two library-loving teen sons. She’s proud to serve among so many civic- and literacy-minded people who share her passion for making a positive change in the community.
