Meet Jennifer

Jennifer has been a bibliophile since birth. When she retired after 30 years of teaching high school English, most of those years at Modesto High School in the International Baccalaureate Program, she chose to focus her volunteer efforts supporting the library and found her way to FOML. Convinced that knowledge is power, and that free libraries are vital to an informed citizenry, it is her desire to carry on the mission of this organization to ensure that our diverse community continues to have access to the invaluable resources our library provides. When she is not discussing literature with her book club, she can be found on her yoga mat, cooking and baking for her family and friends and dreaming about her next adventure out of Modesto into the great beyond.
