Meet Julie

Beginning with frequent visits to the children’s department in the basement of the old McHenry Library, Julie has always loved libraries. Raised by parents who were very involved in the community, she naturally became active as a volunteer. She serves on the board of the League of Women Voters of Stanislaus County with interests in good governance, social justice and environmental issues. After retirement from a career with Girl Scouts, she was happy to have more time for volunteering. For FOML, she is a regular at the Scholastic and Used Book Sales.
