Friends of the Modesto Library partners with Scholastic to host two book sales each year. New high-quality, low-cost books for children and teens are available at both. At this sale, most books–and other items–are Buy One, Get One Free.
RECAP OF LAST YEAR’S EVENT: Over 20 of our members earned books, as well as items like journals, STEM kits and book bags, for the library and its programs by volunteering to staff our discount Scholastic sale in May, 2018. Their 100+ hours of volunteer help bought nearly $1,000 worth of products at the discounted prices. Thank you, Volunteers! we hope for another great sale this year!
The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the library’s auditorium downstairs.

- Friday, May 10 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Monday, May 13 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Cash, checks, credit cards, and purchase orders all accepted.
