First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week will be observed April 7-13, 2019. Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries – school, public, academic and special – participate.
We’ll be staffing an information table near the front of the library on Wednesday, April 10, and Friday, April 12, from 10 am to 2 pm. Stop by and talk to us about the Friends of the Modesto Library. And, of course, if you’re not a member, we hope you’ll join!
