Each year, the Friends of the Modesto Library donates children’s and teen books to be given away FREE at the Stanislaus County Fair. Nothing beats the look on a child’s face when she beams, “You mean I can KEEP it?!”
This event will take place at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds.
Volunteers are needed to place labels in giveaway books prior to the Fair, and to give away books on Stanislaus County Library Night, July 19. Two shifts available, 4:30 to 6:30 and 6:30 to 8:30. Please sign up at https://modestolibraryfriends.o
